Welcome dear friends, welcome one and all! This blog is an extension of my very first book, LYFA! FITNESS 21 Days to Health and Fitness for Life!, an informative guide wherein I lay bare the principles of a truly effective health and fitness program. A program that actually works, which is based on actual facts, actual trials and actual experimentation over many years and is really easy and simple to implement. A program that I have used since it's conception, and still use today to stay fit, healthy and in shape.
It has become more and more important to look after your health and well-being in recent times. Anyone can go ahead and Google the stats to see just how many people die because of unhealthy lifestyles. The World Health Organisation states that more than 36 million people die as a result of unhealthy lifestyles and the misuse of tobacco and alcohol. And that does not even include the fallout due to depression and obsessive eating disorders that result from unhealthy habits.
What kind of world is this, that we should live with problems like these when it is so easy to flip things around for the better? The first step towards improvement begins with some tough questions. Do I want to become another statistic? Do I want to die prematurely because of an unhealthy lifestyle? Do I want to keep on sabotaging myself because I have no confidence or low self-esteem? Or do I want to be fit and healthy, confident, energized and productive, ready to take each day head-on to make the most of it?
The LYFA! FITNESS 21 Day program and this blog is inspired by the hearts and minds of those individuals who do not want to become another statistic. Those individuals for whom there is no other way than to take the first step right now to start making things better. I hope that this blog, read in conjunction with the LYFA!
